Our story
Six decades on the water.
Granite Ridge's roots run back to 1965, when the business began as a hatchery raising game fish and triploid grass carp for aquatic weed control. Over the decades it expanded— adding fountains, high-oxygen-transfer aerators, and subsurface aeration — and, at customers' request, full pond and lake management. Today we're an independent, owner-operated crew of licensed aquatic applicators serving North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia — licensed to sell fish in all three states, too. Six decades in, the person who quotes your pond is still the person who treats it.

We show up
Biweekly means biweekly. In season, your pond sees us every two weeks. We are on-call as needed for our clients as well. Contracts run twelve months — visits every two weeks from March through October, and monthly through the winter.
