Granite Ridge is an independent, owner-operated crew of licensed aquatic applicators. We work ponds and lakes across North Carolina — the Charlotte metro and its surrounding counties, the Triangle around Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, the Triad through Greensboro and Winston-Salem, and the smaller communities in between. HOA boards, golf course and park managers, farm owners, and homeowners all call us for the same reason: they want the water handled by someone who answers the phone and shows up.
Treatments, fountains and aeration, any-brand repair, and fish stocking run statewide. Algae and noxious aquatic weed control, muck reduction, and water testing are applied per EPA label requirements by state-licensed applicators — the least-intensive effective option for your pond, not a one-size program. We sell and install Kasco Marine, AquaMaster, and Aqua Control fountains, install subsurface aeration, and repair fountains and aerators no matter who built or installed them. We also stock bass, bluegill, shellcracker, panfish, forage fish, and triploid grass carp, coordinated with licensed hatchery partners.
Pond repairs are the one thing we keep local. Retention and detention pond repairs — bank and inlet erosion, rip-rap, overflow structures, burrowing-animal damage — plus SCM/BMP inspections, are available in Mecklenburg, Union, and Gaston counties only. If a repair touches a dam structure or needs an engineered design, that's outside our scope and we'll say so up front. When you install or repair equipment that needs more than a minor hookup, we coordinate a licensed electrician for the significant wiring so it's done right.
